Jaipur Design Week is an exemplary, experiential, and insightful Design Festival that serves the purpose of creating a constituency of Design in India.

The festival has various events such as panel discussions, signature talk series, experiential workshops, and competitions that will bring together a diverse community of designers, students, schools, professionals, educators, and more.

Inaugural Talk on Driving Mindsets, Leading Design

Professor, author, consultant and advisor to businesses, social organizations, and governments. Professor Vijay Kumar is an expert on innovation and Professor Emeritus at the Illinois Tech's Institute of Design in Chicago. For more than 12 years he was the chief methodologist at Doblin (now a member of Deloitte) a leading global innovation firm. He is the author of the best-selling book on design innovation process, "101 Design Methods: A Disciplined Approach for Driving Innovation in Your Organization".

Emerging Designer of the Year:

At Jaipur Design Week we celebrate excellence in design by honouring a young design professional for his/ her exemplary work in the field of design. The recipient of this prestigious award shall be a role model for emerging designers and inspire the next generation to strive for excellence in their field.

Danisha Mehta

Danisha Mehta is a distinguished product designer, holding degrees from Nirma University and RCA, London. She clinches the "Emerging Designer of the Year 2024" award from JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur. Currently, she serves as a Design Instructor at ONELAB College, East London, pioneering inclusive design solutions for learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Her innovative approach not only empowers SEND learners but also addresses societal challenges. Her vision includes expanding ONELAB's impact globally, particularly in India, to uplift disabled youths worldwide.
